3 Tips For A Spicier Sex Life In 2019 January 13, 2019

Yes, we are here to tell you just how amazing your 2019 can and shall be, because who doesn’t enjoy a group of like-minded people bandwagoning towards the same goal??? Only this time, we’re not just talking finances and career or love, but sex life! Having a great love life isn’t 100% complete without an amazing sex life. Sex and pleasure are good for your mental, spiritual, and physical health-- and it’s actually a vital part of your well-being.

Let’s not forget that sex statistically helps you sleep well, relieve stress, burns calories, improves healthy skin, increases immunity, and a long list of other great benefits. And remember-- this isn’t just for skin-to-skin, but pleasure. Here are 3 tips that can help you improve your sexual health this year!

  1. Find out what you enjoy the most and find ways to improve it.

Maybe this is all about finding new ways to find pleasure with your favorite toy to enhance your experience. Or taking your favorite position and taking it to the next level. With or without a partner, we encourage you to take your best or your favorite from good to better. Simplicity is fine, but what if you could find divine?

  1. Keep track of your sexual health with an app!

There are so many great apps that help women to keep track of their sexual health-- from intimacy to menstrual cycles and pregnancies. More than just telling you when you’re fertile, when you’re ovulating, and when you’ll be on the rag-- you can also document when you were intimate, what you did, if it were protected or unprotected, etc. This is a great way to stay on top of your sexual health to make sure you and/or your partner are staying connected regularly, and to never let the priority slip away for too long! Some suggested apps: P Tracker (my personal fave), Flo, Eve, and Cycles.

  1. Talk about it!

Unfortunately, so many of us have allowed sex to become this secret taboo, deep-in-the-closet topic to discuss. Studies have shown that the more you talk about it, the better it becomes. Whether you’ll be diving in with a sexual partner or indulging in some new toys, take up the topic with your lover (or lovers), friends, and yes-- even family! We’re all adults, right? Ask the questions that you’ve always wanted to ask. Talk about fears and discomforts. Inquire about unexplored territories, wants, desires, and fantasies. You’ll come to pick up some new ideas of your own and even get to know some things about your lover that you wouldn’t have otherwise! PS: feel free to hit our DMs and tell us about it afterward!

If this helped you, spread the word and help another! Let’s have more love and more (greater) sex in 2019!
